Empowering The Block Island Arts Community

The Block Island Arts Council (BIAC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to building a vibrant, multidisciplinary arts community on Block Island. Our mission is to foster year-round cultural and economic opportunities for residents, and to attract artists through collaborative educational programs.

Formerly known as On Island Collaborative, the Block Island Arts Council is the result of the passion, hard work, and investment of many who care deeply about the island. We gratefully recognize our founding members: Sue Black, Ben Martin, Page Gaffett, and John Warfel.
